As the exhaust gases pass through,DPF filter captures somewhere between 85%-100% of
diesel particulate matter (DPM) which includes soot from the exhaust and ash from motor oil, a lot of ash and soot stays in the filter's honeycomb substrate, thus accumulating and clogging inside DPF. This buildup can have huge negative consequences including; increased pressure drop across the DPF, reduction of engine efficiency, and increased fuel usage.
Thermal cleaning--most efficient way to clean soot-packed DPF
Fuel injector and other engine failures can generate high volumes of soot that can densely fill a DPF full of soot, such soot-packed DPF resists pneumatic and wet cleaning methods, the best way can be recovered by oxidizing the soot using thermal cleaning, even serious blocked DPF can also be cleaned efficiently.
Utilizing a DPF thermal regeneration oven and heating the filter through this process, ensures that the DPFs are properly and thoroughly cleaned, allowing them to function properly. If the DPF is not heated, some debris may remain in the filter increasing the cleaning interval, costing the diesel operator more money in the long run.
Application:
Our thermal regenerate burner adopts intelligent stair-step temperature control, process DPF at 600-800ºC, remove 100% of soot ,and assist in loosening hardened ash plugs and scale from cell walls from DPF/DOC, also could process urea crystallization of SCR converters.
It's the best solution for DPF/SCR/DOC cleaning for light, medium and heavy duty trucks, passenger vehicles,also construction equipment.
